Yesterday, this summary / introduction / explanation of CrossFit was posted by Lalanne Fitness --- I'm impressed. I think it's the best I've read, and is better than my recent attempts to summarize & introduce:

Includes a decent elaboration of each of the 10 factors of fitness, and a good focus on neuroendocrine response and functionality.
