What constitutes a peanut?
 
Okay, for you Zoners out there, what is the zone definition of a peanut? There is a fairly big difference between basing your calculations on the peanuts in a shell and the peanuts in a jar. The former usually has anywhere from 2-4 of the pieces you typically find in a jar of peanuts. Just wondering.

I try not to get too crazy with this one, but for years I have been buying Planter's Mixed nuts. They come in a can (as most nuts do) and I carry them everywhere. Eating them has really helped my eating habits for the better. By that I mean, I usually eat them 20 or so minutes before dinner, so I don't eat too much at dinner, or I eat them as a snack, usually with an apple or some type of fruit. I'm sure most people on here will tell you that you've gotta find organic nuts and they can only be "silver almonds or walnuts and you should only eat three at a time." Try eating three nuts and and see how full you feel, uh, you won't. Good-ol Planter's do me just fine, though I would chow down on the healthier ones as well if they were a little easier accessible.

Steven make sure your eating grass fed peanuts =-D


No really.. blue diamond makes all natural nut products. I usually go for those, or the planters reduced sodium health nuts in a can.

Check the listing on the label of the nuts you have.
