Hello there,

First off thanks for taking the time to read this.

I am doing this for myself and family. I know that I need to be in good shape to be around for my family and to be safe at my job.

After trying many different types of work outs and occasional WOD I have realized the errors of my ways and will finally commit to Crossfit. I have been dieting for the last 6 months and running, losing 36 pounds. Now I want to get some muscle with my running endurance. I am going to use the WOD with running and ocassional lifting. I will post workouts daily and would love for anyone to comment, give suggestions, or motivations. We all need a little kick in the *** to keep our egos in check and motivation to workout.

Quick stats will post the full ones with a pic here soon.

6'4" 233

What stats should I record to keep a good measure of fitness? Thatís one I could use some help on.

Today's Workout

DAY 1!

woke up early at work and did the WOD then ran 2 miles on the dreadmil.

Went to work ready to tear into my workout first thing in the morning but had training and paper work to do. All day I was thinking of the workout. Not until 5 was I able to change into some shorts and go tear it up.

In Turnouts with air pack
20L&20R sledgehammer
2 Pull ups
19L&19R Sledgehammer
4 PU
18L&18R
6PU
17L&17R
8PU
16L&16R
10PU
15L&15R
12PU
feeling spent at this point then

9-15-15-9
105 Cleans
Burps
Double unders

then run 2 miles in 20 min.

I was done after that one. The gear was the best part!
