I've been practicing with a pvc pipe for my o lifts, I decided that it was time to have a go at this for the WOD. I used 60 kg right the way through the sets as I didnt want to push any weight so that I could focus on form.

First I must apologise for the quality of the video, it was taken at night and the camera view needed to be rotated I only found this out after a friend bluetoothed them over.

I felt like I was maybe taking the bar too high before pulling under and could have held a more open chest.

Looks like you need to pull the bar into the thighs once the bar passes the knees. The bar is too far away during this phase. I liked the smooth acceleration off the floor - good patience on the pull. Use this patience that you have to pull the bar into the thighs before exploding on the second pull. The bar should lightly brush the thighs and should not be several inches in front of them.

Yes, you could be faster getting under the bar. Everybody could. But it looks like you pull too long. And you are letting the bar crash on you - in this case the bar got up nearly to face level. Rack it before it gets higher than your adam's apple. Get the elbows up faster and more aggressively.

Another point is that the hips are too high in the start position and your lower back is rounded.

Keep plugging away at it.
