Looks good, nothing worth complaining about there. Done in no-heel Adidas Sambas, no less.

Lincoln, I've been looking into weightlifting shoes and noticed that there is a heel on it, but everyone says if you're not going to use lifting shoes to use something like the sambas or chuck taylors, these don't have any heel. what gives do i want heel or no, or is it that the weightlifting shoes have a heel that has no give in it?

The heel improves the angle, making heavy lifts easier, ie decreasing the flexibility needed for A2A. Or at least improving the leverages at A2A.

i do mine bare foot.. just as efficient as not having a heel in the shoe....

Charles, I've heard alot of people talk about lifting barefoot. What happens when you're doing max loads, does your arch flatten out? I'd be a little concerned about that in my line of work I need my feet.

My arches have never flattened out, and i actually have high arches. I've been doing it for about a year and a half...never had any feet or ankle problems.
