In hopes of adding some mass on my legs I will begin incorporating pistols and sprints to my workouts. Please critique my pistol form:

Looks fine to me...tho if you wanted to add mass to yours legs why aren't you doing squats?

is it ok to hold the leg thats out in front of you? Or is that cheating?
Sometimes when I get tried I grab my foot to get a few extra reps in

i would think holding the leg would be cheating. it defeats the purpose of the exercise.

but your still going down and up on the other leg...although balance is easier when I'm holding the extended leg...

I think it's fine. Holding the foot makes you more stable. After a while you can do it with or without the foot and it doesn't make a difference. If it gets you doing your pistols, then hold your foot.

sure, that makes sense; as a scaling technique.
