Pavel in power to the people recommends keeping the scapula retracted and depressed when doing shoulder presses, yet crossfit says to keep an active shoulder with the scapula elevated and protracted.
can someone clarify which is correct?
which is best for rehabbing shoulder?

Pavel has stated that he teaches the "packed" shoulder to simplify instruction for novice athletes. He likes the active shoulder but I suppose finds it too complex for Joe Kettlebell.

so do you think as a beginner i should do it pavels way or should i try the cf way?
