Beautiful spring day yesterday. Went for run in the woods. Jumped down enbankment, caught left foot under root. Leg stopped, I didn't. Pulled inner thigh and groin muscles. Scrapes, bruises. Helluva climb back up.
Not real thrilled about location of ice bag.

I understand. Normally swelling there is a good thing.

Yep. Dirt and leaves in teeth and all. The squirrels got a good laugh. So did my wife when I got home.
I'm not hurt too bad though. Feels like it should be better in a week or so.
Ropeless rappelling anyone? Its a blast!

Barry, the ice doesn't seem to be helping with that kind of swelling. Seems to have the opposite effect.

Ron, you've got to get out of my head! I was just thinking about how to make the Seinfeld reference. Hopefully Donald's wife is up on shrinkage.

I saw that episode!
William, wifey's too busy laughing at my bruises to worry about "shrinkage"
Really, there's no problem. :proud:

OUCH! Did anyone get you on video? It'd be a shoe-in for AFV!

Donald,

Sorry I missed this thread before. I assume you were just working out the tumbling form from a recent CF Journal.....

Donald,
Next time post your route on the board, me and Dan will video it for you. By the way, do you know what "Fell Running" is? You should get an honorary membership.

Fell Running? Nope, never heard of it.
I'm still trying to get used to that whole Fartlik thing. Tain't easy. Lotsa yoga on that one. Burns my eyes.
And ya know what? I'm not so sure I wanna be out in the woods alone with you and Dan.

I gotta check that out. Looks like it includes some orienteering.
